The Buisson Ardent really represents gourmet Paris, popular and traditional, it is one of those places where charm and friendliness are key words, and places like this have made French reputation what it is throughout the world.
It is in the heart of the very lively Jussieu neighbourhood that Jean-Thomas Lopez has chosen to locate his Buisson Ardent. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and it is a permanent switch between yesterday’s traditions and the much more modern and austere tones of today’s establishments. The first dining room is an elegant alliance between pretty pictures, old style lights and intense colours whereas the smaller rooms awaiting you at the back are really more sober, from gray to perfect white, the decoration items being much more daring. The global result is no doubt charming to anyone, those who like traditional Paris and those who like the capital’s more trendy places!
Stéphane Mauduit is a young dynamic Chef who was taught by Rostang and his cuisine combines flavours from yesterday with those of tomorrow. The menu he composes reflects the establishment, a mix of classic traditional cuisine along with much more daring touches. Everyone will find what he is looking for here, on those plates that are really generously served, with fresh quality products, a delight for even the most demanding taste buds!
If you choose to enter the Buisson Ardent, you will re-experience the splendour of Parisian gourmet cuisine, traditional, friendly, daring and surprising. If you are not convinced yet, please try the ideal gourmet menu as soon as you can, is it full of resources ...
Paris is right there for you!
