On the Alsace wine route, you will find a charming stop at Château d’Isenbourg, a monument with a history going all the way back to Charlemagne and Dagobert.
That’s a programme in itself...
This place is built on vaulted cellars dating back to the 12th and 14th centuries, but it only became a luxury hotel in 1974. It is now a charming establishment, full of personality and it has kept its history while being comfortable and extremely welcoming. A prestigious place you will want to share! For lunch or dinner, two dining rooms are awaiting you. A panoramic room, largely opening up to the terrace and the Clos vineyards, decorated in Louis XV style. And the other one, salle Dagobert, a very high and vaulted 12th century style room, decorated in a bourgeois Louis XIII spirit. Two decors, two atmospheres, for the same type of shared gourmet cuisine.
And another excellent surprise is the cuisine, it does not only offer traditional dishes to charm demanding gourmets, the regulars of this place. There are gourmet exotic touches to be found here, going further than the recipes our taste buds are used to. Here is a light and generous cuisine, going beyond classics with undeniable talent.
This Château full of history offers luxury full of personality. Historic décor, in perfect harmony with the surroundings, inventive cuisine of a quality you do not even need to comment on, that is the programme of your stop.
For your greatest pleasure, ideal gourmet presents a tasting menu, it will surprise you and guarantees you will come back!
