Le Moulin du Gapeau

At the heart of a charming village in the Var region, le Moulin du Gapeau is ready to welcome you for lunch or for dinner if you love good cuisine.
This former oil mill dating back to the 17th century is a unique gift and it will allow everyone to live at the rhythm of the water for a moment... This is a building full of personality with Southern accents to it and guests, as soon as they enter, will be taken back to the time when people used to be the only animation on the village squares with their century old trees. The laughs and discussions still echo in the walls... The large dining room is arranged like a theatre, and the vaulted room with stone walls has kept some original elements from the mill, in order to create an authentic ambiance. The painting on the wall allows guests to enjoy a street scene from way back when, the red and orange hues of the tables remind of colours of the South. If you take the little bridge over the Gapeau River, you can enjoy the terrace and enjoy a much more modern atmosphere, created by a mix of teak, warm colours and exotic trees. Two unique spaces for two different atmospheres, perfect for business meals or family banquets. As for loving couples, they can enjoy a discreet table by a palm tree. In this very nice décor the Chef offers a menu with Mediterranean accents, full of flavours and inspired. For gourmets’ pleasure, he subtly works on products of the region, seasonal vegetables and products from the sea, you will feel all that in the ideal gourmet tasting menu, a tribute to his specialties according to the season!
