La Maison du Terroir is located in Maury, between sea and mountains and it offers exceptional settings, close to Cathar castles and to the Galamus gorges.
This charming village of the Eastern Pyrénées enjoys a very varied natural and historic context and Pascal Borrell’s restaurant is in perfect harmony with this landscape, it adds a gourmet touch to this region that is already rich of its cuisine traditions, and regional cuisine is indeed a specialty here. When you enter this traditional house, you will be touched by the modern décor the Catalan colours giving a simple, relaxed yet elegant atmosphere. The two large dining rooms are perfectly organized, with a lot of room for each table, comfort and discretion guaranteed. And for banquets or seminars, another room is available. In this modern and luminous place guests are warmly welcomed, they enjoy the know how of a star decorated Chef. Pascal Borrell is originally a biochemist and one day he decided to change paths and follow his own star: cuisine. He is a compagnon du Tour de France, originally from Perpignan and he has worked with the greatest Chefs across the country. In 2005 he comes back home to share a cuisine where excellence is really a key word. Each day, each season, the Chef offers exceptional products that he works on with his usual passion, for the demanding taste buds’ greatest pleasure. For the ideal gourmet menu, Pascal Borrell offers revisited cuisine from the region in an exquisite tasting menu. The Chef’s cuisine is regular, generous and passionate, just like him in fact! A choice of flavours and colours, a certain artistic touch at the heart of a plate with Southern accents.
