La Tour des Valois

It is in the charming town of Angoulême that restaurant La Tour des Valois offers those who love authenticity a warm and friendly atmosphere.
Located in a building dating back to the 16th century, this restaurant has really kept the charming atmosphere of years long gone: fire places, wood and walls of visible stones. The little wooden tables, very nicely set, are really a tribute to elegance and French know how: white or chocolate coloured table cloths, delicate crockery, the mix is perfect. There are paintings on the walls, and the red lamps give a subdued lighting, making the atmosphere here mild... Between regional tradition and inventiveness, the Chef likes to play with spices in order to give his cuisine this little extra touch.
