In the delicious town of Rennes, at the heart of the Bretagne region, there is a place where you will no doubt want to stop for a few hours: the hotel Le Coq Gadby welcomes you to its gourmet restaurant, La Coquerie.
La Coquerie is one of these places that knows how to keep the best of yesterday’s traditions alive while getting its inspiration from the best of today... In a prestigious interior, you will no doubt enjoy an efficient and discreet service, truly professional up to the smallest details. We owe this transformation to Véronique and Jacques Brégeon, they turned what used to be well-known Institution into a luxury hotel and restaurant. You will feel the change even in the place’s décor, a restaurant that since 2004 is a place of choice for the region’s gourmets. The atmosphere is subdued and intimate, the colours elegant and discreet, the tables are beautifully set, everything is sober and pure, the décor is in fact simple yet very well thought through. On the terrace, the owners have let the place keep its natural charm, that of a place surrounded by trees... The result is verging on perfection...
Pierre Legrand, Chef at La Coquerie, describes his cuisine as "healthy and useful"! Useful for the environment of course, but also for each and every one of us. And if you follow him to the market, you will understand his philosophy instantly, allowing cuisine with last minute preparations, light juices and emulsions... Calmly and in a relaxed way, like his personality orders it... Pierre Legrand is a Chef who is delicate and airy, just like the plates he prepares! Dishes that will durably haunt our unconscious.
So taste and enjoy this restaurant, full of a charm you cannot really define. La Coquerie has a gourmet and relaxing stop in store for you, in prestigious surroundings, and ideal gourmet was naturally charmed...
The menu that awaits you will no doubt convince you...
