« Talent and Passion » are the main characteristics of the “Jeunes Restaurateurs d’Europe” association, and Rachel Gesbert is a great defender of those values.
Located in the heart of Rennes, the Poterie Manor is not only a well known stop for gourmets, but also a place where you find peace and calm. Cathy’s and Rachel’s pretty house is surrounded by trees, and it is the restaurant name going around among friends in the area. Refined décor, yet friendly and in total harmony with the cuisine composed by a young, creative and promising Chef.
Of course you will find a tender accent put on the specialties of the region and on local traditions but the cuisine here is also full of touches and flavours from other, more far-off horizons. Rachel likes his guests to travel and is always listening to what their wishes might be. One must point out that by chance, he acquired with his ancestors, also active in gourmet circles, the tones that he now uses and plays with to surprise and to charm.
If good cuisine is found here, let us not forget that Cathy’s welcome is exceptional, in adequacy with the good reputation of the place in the region, and always full. That is not surprising, given that the prices are not too high, the service good, and cuisine elaborate. Rachel wished to compose an ideal gourmet menu full of flavours, showing the full extent of his talent.
