Half way between the Jardins des Champs Elysées and Jardins des Tuileries, on the famous Place de la Concorde, formerly Place Louis XV, Place de la Révolution...
, you will find a famous Parisian palace hotel, Hôtel de Crillon. French art de vivre lives on in this place that is truly full of history. It is here for instance that king Louis XVI acknowledged the Independance of the United States via a treaty. The other signataries included Benjamin Franklin... And the majestic balconies in the Salons des Aigles, from which Marie Antoinette witnessed the guillotine at work, with no less than 1119 executions... Louis XVI, his wife Marie Antoinette, most members of their family, all the leaders of the Revolution...Nowadays we can enjoy more peaceful times here, the refinement of the 18th century décor offers visitors and gourmets a journey to the past, in the generous proportions of back then. Les Ambassadeurs is located in the Ducs de Crillon's former ball room. The style was revisited in 2004 by Parisian decorator Sybille de Margerie, bringing some modern touches while not losing anything of its former beauty. Light nuances give luminosity, in harmony with the yellow Sienna marble.In the kitchen we find young Chef Christopher Hache since 2010. This Chef has learnt his trade with the most famous: Eric Briffard, Alain Senderens, Eric Fréchon, and more recently with Frédéric Robert at La Grande Cascade. He truly loves a good product, using them with a great respect for the seasons, and he also proudly represents various French regions, this Chef truly wants to please his guests, offering beautiful products he makes even better.
