While Parmentier used to grow his strange «potatoes» in Neuilly, this institution of the Porte Maillot has developed a passion for a much less common tuber!
After all, Tuber Melanosporum (the black truffle) is not all there is to it! According to the seasons, like in the fall for instance, the Burgundy truffle is also worth mentioning. There are several different varieties of tuber. Patrice Hardy is an “art of the truffle” man, a well known specialist. He brings about a change of habits with a cuisine mixing tradition and modernity, even if his inventive cuisine remains classic and traditional.
The restaurant has seen a complete change of décor recently; the dining room is very pleasant and intimate with modern tones to it. The patina is obtained with natural wax, and has grey tones to it, the complete effect being obtained by a combination with the rest of the décor. The Louis XVI style chairs have been modernized with Wengé coloured wood, and show pink and wine colours, alternatively turquoise and purple. The seats are padded to obtain greater comfort and a magnificent Murano centre light dominates the main dining room. We can also notice several decorative items from the Maison de Sarah.
Now this is a restaurant for truffle lovers, they will be served truffles in all its shapes! And it is also a place for duos, not too serious but perfectly run!
The prices are reasonable and justified, and the Chef will lead you through a discovery of his truffle passion through an ideal gourmet menu composed especially for you.
Unique!
