What a pleasure to find oneself in the eastern parts of Paris at last, near the green heart of the capital, the Buttes Chaumont park, and near the 19th arrondissement town hall.
This is a very lively establishment, full of smiles and energy, and with really great surprises on your plate, in the décor and of course in the welcome as well!
Le Laumière is reborn now thanks to a man who feels well in his craft, well among his guests and well in his neighbourhood. We are talking about Eddy Zouari who knows the trade since he was in charge of the large and famous Parisian brasserie La Coupole for a long time.
So now this eastern part of Paris that was so cruelly lacking restaurants, where no bourgeois establishments settled, can pride itself with a truly pleasant restaurant.
Almost hidden away a few minutes away from the avenue Jean Jaurès, this restaurant is a chic bistro, with all the qualities of a truly Parisian brasserie, with seafood, lobsters and live fish.
The dining room is luminous because the little garden with its fountain gives filtered sunlight to it, and the décor is comfortable for the eyes, with comfortable seats as well. Very appreciated: the space between each table for maximum comfort.
And combined with all this, we discover a traditional kind of cuisine, innovative still, a selection of recipes that everyone will be delighted to rediscover, with well known fish specialties like the famous pikeperch dumplings, all those traditional dishes our ancestors tasted many times...
ideal gourmet can only recommend Le Laumière for all those reasons and even more, because the welcome, the friendliness and Eddy’s smiles make all the difference...
maybe this is a restaurant that simply makes you happy ?
