If you thought that La Défense was a neighbourhood where all you could find were high buildings with young executives in suits and ties, it is probably because you never came across Le Saint Joseph, a very typical and charming restaurant!
A few minutes away from La Défense on foot, this charming establishment welcomes you into a different world. The place is rather sober and lacks neither charm nor authenticity. Pretty paintings or old posters, copper, wood, old style tiled floors, everything is planned to take city people away from their everyday life and give them the true values they are looking for. You are now out of Paris and out of time that goes too fast, you are in the comfortable environment where andouillette and black sausage from the Sud Ouest are the rule. Marie’s warm welcome in the dining room will only confirm your first impression: you are at home at Le Saint Joseph !
In the kitchen, Denis really wants to respect a gourmet tradition in which he firmly believes. In his expert hands Duval andouillette, black sausage imported directly from Ducasse in Iparla or the entrecôte from Salers take on new dimensions, personal, unique ones that are full of flavours. The only secret of this talented Chef is his love of fresh products, of things well done and of respected values. Starting from there, the plates coming out from the kitchen are a sparkling mix of traditions and a very personal touch.
Sometimes it does really feel good to come away from places that are too common and enter unforgettable ones. That is exactly what Le Saint Joseph and ideal gourmet are offering through this menu that is full of flavours, a sort of gourmet journey back to good and authentic cuisine from the Sud Ouest.
So enjoy, it is allowed!
