Le Vivier is most certainly the address to remember in this pretty town of Amiens.
The facade is rather classical, but behind it you will find a modern décor, light and with clear maritime influences: a shellfish tank is the centre of the beautiful dining room. It is in this décor, dedicated to products of the sea, that you are invited to taste fish and shellfish.
And playing subtly with ground and sea, Marc-Etienne Mont is the captain and composes truly original dishes!
The name of the establishment is a give away in itself– vivier means fishtank in French – and it is indeed from the sea that the Chef gets his permanent inspiration... You will be delighted at his shellfish compositions, and also at the fish, prepared according to tradition.
Our Chef’s cuisine is original and inventive; it shifts between simplicity and modernity, while staying very close to the product. Christine will always welcome you with a smile, and she shows attentions that can only prove one thing, she wants to please her guests, be they regulars or just visitors.
The ideal gourmet menu, composed especially for you, will allow you to share this Chef’s talent and passion as a member of the Jeune Restaurateurs d’Europe association, truly very inspired by the products of the sea.
