Many masters of our gourmet history have been working here. Several artists are known to have loved the spirit here: impressionists and most of all Alexandre Dumas Jr how met the famous Dame aux Camélias here. It was a popular place at the time and now it is sometimes difficult to find a seat, the regulars being a gourmet elite. This is no doubt one of the greatest successes of a generation.
Thierry Conte is the present owner and Chef at this magical place. He is fascinated by Delaveyne who taught a whole generation of Chefs at Le Camélia. This place is truly a myth that lives on thanks to the talent and passion of a couple who like to welcome guests. Thierry Conte is careful when composing a very precise type of cuisine, between regional cuisine and classicism, using simple and elegant recipes.
Beautiful private dining rooms are available, finely decorated, the main dining room in happy colours presents beautiful paintings and the atmosphere is relaxed in this enchanting place. As a couple it is perfect... Family receptions or business meals have the private dining rooms at their disposal.
