Well, here
we are! Véronique and Jean-Paul Abadie are enjoying a
success dedicated to their guests in Lorient since 1985. Every
day they try harder to give their best while remaining

L’Amphitryon is located in a traditional Breton house not very
far from Lorient airport or from the Nantes-Quimper road,
close to the city centre. The Chef is originally from the
Hautes-Pyrénées region, is the son of a butcher and really
respects his products while composing a pure and inventive
cuisine. He has worked in famous establishments like the
Trianon in Versailes or the Royal in Evian but he was also
very quick to open his own restaurant where he learnt to
compose his dishes almost by himself. Abadie is authentic
and spontaneous, he will surprise and awe you with his innate
talent. His cuisine is a result of his accuracy, tenacity and
experience that is well known to all gourmet guides. So enter
Véronique and Jean-Paul Abadie’s surprising world. Their
guests’ pleasure and well-being is their primary concern. Pure
and magnificent glass, shapes and colours like in a fairy tale.
This is a modern décor and it is a natural shrine to attentive
and daring cuisine along with a wine menu that is extremely
varied.Your plate is almost like a painting, a source of
emotions for guests who are offered choices where the sea is
the main inspiration source. Four tableaux for four seasons...
The menu gets richer with new creations as time goes by and
the imagination of the creator develops. The ideal gourmet
menu presents two starters of the moment following each
other and two main courses of the season to be discovered
one after the other. It is the perfect way to discover the
establishment. The atmosphere is created by Madame Abadie
and everyone knows she is a perfect hostess.
