You will find the famous Notre Dame de Bon Secours Chapel close by, it is a famous sign on land for all seamen in the area and it was long isolated from the rest of the region, until 1914 in fact. It is nowadays a memorial chapel for seamen lost to the sea and this charming chapel presents testimonies by the families of those who died at sea. It is a simple place of worship but very impressive, and it is a good thing to pay it a visit after a nice meal. Tristan and his wife Corinne spent 20 years in La Baule but when they arrived in this region it was love at first sight, as any visitor will easily understand. It is a very special place indeed… It is a reference for products of the sea and Tristan finds at the local fish market the best fish and the best sea food. The city is the world capital of sea scallops. Of course our Chef does not completely forget poultry and meat, he composes an inventive cuisine that will delight even the most inventive taste buds. Service and welcome are attentive and smiling and Corinne is in charge of them. Our Chef offers an improvised and tailor made tasting menu according to each guest’s wishes and to the secrets of the market, that is what the ideal gourmet menu is all about!
