L’Auberge du Crève Cœur is a peaceful and green haven, almost an oddity in this region of Northern Lorraine where the flames of the steel industry are still the norm.
The large restaurant building dominates the plain at the place nick-named “Crève Coeur” and with its elegant terrace it is a favourite for regulars or gourmet visitors. When the founders opened up their little café called Bellevue in the last century, little did they know that their place was soon to become the gourmet tradition of the region. Michel Speck is the man in charge nowadays, and you will find in this man an openness and a youth of spirit that are hard do describe and define. He is a high level cyclist and he likes to give all his attention and warm welcome to all the guests entering his authentic Lorraine style Inn. So for a business lunch or a family party in the private dining room, as a couple or between friends, the spirit of the house will no doubt charm all types of guests and leave with fond memories. As for the cuisine aspect, the Chef composes a cuisine that is full of flavours, it is rather famous in the region, based on classics and on local traditions. This is really a favourite in the Lorraine region for its beautiful location.
