In the charming town of Quarré les Tombes, close to Avallon and Vézelay, l’Hôtel du Nord Le Saint Georges is a remarkable establishment by its imposing size in the heart of town.
Before becoming the current Inn, the establishment used to be postal relay in 1854, and after a total renovation it became the hotel we still see today. The interior décor reminds us of a traditional farm, with visible wooden beams, a traditional fire place and old style furniture. It is like a table for friends, where everybody could meet to discuss gourmet issues. A most welcome stop for a seminar or a private event, or even just to have lunch or dinner on a very pleasant terrace when the weather allows. The team is very attentive for the guests’ greatest satisfaction, you will get the advice you need, and always with a smile. As for the cuisine itself, the Chef offers traditional cuisine of the region, composed of specialties from Morvan.
