At the heart of Mont de Marsan, an adorable little street in the centre of town experiences a healthy renewal.
The town with three rivers now hosts a modern country style restaurant called Un air de campagne. A new start for cuisine in the Landes region! The restaurant welcomes you in a nice décor where décor items, modern materials, wrought iron and colourful table cloths live side by side. Even the menus are very carefully presented in cloth covers. We owe all that to Nadine Duchet who likes to welcome guests and who is a charming hostess. As for the cuisine, Chef François Duchet, who used to work at Chibois, works his magic in the kitchen with this little extra touch making him a “young talent”! The Landes region is really at the centre of attention here, while we are also very happy to see some divergence from traditions, like excellent fish dishes in the land of duck, the will of a Chef who is very attentive to products of the sea. If locals already love this modern and classic place, fresh and generous, connoisseurs will not be mistaken and they are numerous, so you’d better book in advance! You will have an excellent moment here, no doubt about that, and the ideal gourmet menu, carefully composed by the Chef, will have all taste buds going crazy!
This is truly an ideal gourmet favourite!
