It is at the heart of the mountains and a few minutes away from the lake, in the charming town of Annecy, that Contresens offers a very tasty cuisine, a playful one even, that will no doubt charm all gourmets.

The décor is very modern, a gem of originality and elegance. With metal and wood furniture, the terrace gives an idea of what the interior will be like, resolutely modern. The dining room is all in red and grey nuances, you will find bistro style seats here, sober chairs and high tables with slate in them, organized around a huge copper bar. Pastry tools are used as lamps in front of the glass windows separating the dining room from the kitchen. “I wanted to create an elegant yet relaxed place: a cuisine café of sorts, where you can meet around inventive, playful cuisine of the seasons.” That is what Laurent Petit explains, while describing this room where nothing is exaggerated, everything is just right and sober.
As for the cuisine it is modern, full of flavours, a pleasure for your eyes. On the program a quest for the senses, a new genre where attention is given to every last detail, presentation, mix of flavours, surprising and delicious, through the choice of products. This is absolute temptation, a menu that evolves according to the Chef’s moods and to the seasons to give you the best of what nature has to offer all year round.
