L’Aigle.
The very pretty region of Aiglon is located in Normandy and it used to be Jean Gabin’s region. It will later become that of Luc Besson when he is shooting his Joan of Arc or "Arthur and the Minimoys". L’Hôtel du Dauphin, ancient Diligences Relay from 1618, is located at the very heart of the town of Aigle, and every inch of the place holds an anecdote for you, a rare moment. Kings, princes, presidents and famous people (Count of Paris, Charles de Gaulle...) have gathered here for centuries in order to live exceptional moments. And there are 40 well equipped rooms, Wifi, a famous gourmet table to welcome the numerous visitors who are on their way to Lisieux or the Mont Saint Michel. This has been a local institution for a while now, it is well known by locals who have been here at least once in their life for a wedding, a seminar or a family or professional meal. Large dining rooms, private spaces, all is envisaged here to welcome all types of events, all year round. On site hosts, both in the Reception Room and Kitchen, Brigitte and Regis Ligot will do their best to make your stay at l'Aigle as pleasant as possible. As for the cuisine, beautifully presented, it is an invitation to a true moment of relaxation and escape. Dishes of character always accompanied by homemade bread, that can be lavender or sesame another day... and always prepared with fresh products, carefully chosen by the Chefs, Régis Ligot and Didier Godefroy, will be displayed for you at lunch or diner.
L’Hôtel du Dauphin Pays de l'Aigle is a stop full of flavours and taste, of history as well, but first and foremost it is a gourmet stop, to enjoy an ideal gourmet menu that was composed especially for you with the utmost care.
