The neighbourhood around the St Lazare station is being renovated, and the famous Garnier restaurant, passed on from father to son since three generations now, did not want to be left behind!
The result is a luminous and much appreciated piece of work.
In 1936, the first seafood and shellfish bar opens its doors in France; this institution for tasting products of the sea is ahead of its time, it surprises and astonishes by an elaborate and joyful cuisine, and by... a transatlantic décor!
True enough, one had to dare transposing the original furniture from the Normandie, and thus hail an elaborate type of cuisine, all in flavours and beauty, composed by Ludovic Schwarts, who arrived here six years ago after constructive halts in very famous places, such as the Grand Véfour or the Dôme!
The restaurant is all comfort, mirrors, alcoves and tables, the seating is original, changing from leather armchairs to couches and we can only admire the work of a meticulous interior decorator, attentive to every detail.
The ideal gourmet menus are an invitation to a celebration with the seafood plate, or an invitation to delicacy with the royal sea bream, the Chef’s specialty...
The fish comes in every day, the service is attentive, the whole team will attend to your every need, reflecting the spirit of this restaurant, full of character, positioning itself as the stable element of this new and appreciated neighbourhood, where one is happy to stop for dinner!
