It has been ten years now since Hubert Maetz settled in the kitchens of the family home.

Alsace and fine gourmets wonder about his absence in the famous Michelin guide... To tell the whole truth, most regulars are convinced by his cuisine and by his welcome that he is already blessed with a star...
And Maetz’s cuisine is indeed exceptional, going from the classics to innovation with unbelievable ease. Cast one eye on the menu and you’ll understand: one knows “fines de Claire” oysters or onion soup, can be amused by the “changing geometry of vegetables from grandpa’s garden”, discover the stuffed turnip with shitake and finally treat oneself to a saffron-flavoured orange salad.
The décor is modern and pleasant with a very luminous dining room, open to the garden thanks to large bay windows.
The service is pleasant and verging on perfection, the choice of wine is impressive – not forgetting the good ones produced by Jacques Maetz, the father.


Everything is here to have a really good time, and forget about the number of stars!
