The restaurant must take your booking if there is a table available (apart from specific days: Dec 31st, Jan 1st, Deb 14th, and Mother’s Day). If there is a problem, please contact us at +33 (0)1 45 72 07 14.

What do I do if I don’t like the menu ?

The ideal gourmet menu offers a range of choices. If one of the options does not please you, the restaurant should give you the possibility to order something else, with no extra charge.

I got a Multirestaurant Invitation as a gift

I have a Multirestaurant Invitation, what do I do if I don’t find a restaurant I like ? You can exchange your invitation for a gourmet basket, with a value corresponding to the amount of your Invitation.

What do I do if I can’t find a restaurant I like ?
Ideal gourmet selects its restaurants according to very stringent norms so that your guest should have an enjoyable time. That is why the choice on our website is limited.

My guest would like to pick another restaurant… If the restaurant should not be to your guest’s liking, he can change for another restaurant. He should send back the following items to ideal gourmet, 132, avenue de Villiers, 75 017 Paris, by secure mail:
- the original invitation, - a cheque for 10 euros corresponding to the administrative costs, - If that applies, a cheque for the amount corresponding to the price difference between new and former restaurant, - Your full details and choice of new restaurant.

Can I add guests ? When ?
Call ideal gourmet with your Invitation at hand and tell us the number of guests you would like to add. You will have to pay ideal gourmet the corresponding amount at that moment.
If you do not wish to add them through ideal gourmet, tell the restaurant when you book that x extra guests will be joining you. They will have access to the restaurant’s regular menu and will not be able to enjoy the ideal gourmet menu.

How long is my invitation valid for? Can I prolong that ?
The invitation is valid for 1 year from the date of purchase. You can prolong it according to certain criteria.

The date has already passed, what do I do ?
The invitation should be used before the date mentioned on it. But you can prolong it according to certain criteria.

What do I do if I have lost my Invitation ?
Please call ideal gourmet at +33 (0)1 45 72 07 14 to inform us. Our services will get in touch with the restaurant in question. Then please inform your local police station, and send snail mail to ideal gourmet at 132, avenue de Villiers, 75 017 Paris, with a copy of your police declaration. You can only be sent a new Invitation if the declared lost or stolen one has not been used at that time.

How do I pay at the restaurant ?
The ideal gourmet invitation always corresponds to an all inclusive menu (drinks, starter, main course, dessert, 1 bottle of wine for 2, 1 bottle of water for 2, coffee).
All you have to do is hand over your invitation upon arrival at the restaurant, and you will be offered the all inclusive menu.
Of course you are free to order anything else, and that will be invoiced directly to the restaurant, and paid by you there.

Do I have to tell the restaurant I have an invitation ?
You should tell them when booking and upon arrival that you have an ideal gourmet invitation. That is compulsory for everything to go smoothly.

Contact ideal gourmet, they will tell you when it was sent. You can also ask ideal gourmet to call your guest and ensure they have their invitation.

2. Prepaid reservations

Why should I book with ideal gourmet ?
With a prepaid reservation, you have full control over your budget. You can enjoy an all inclusive menu, with drinks, at a fixed price. Then, no surprises when the bill arrives! You trust in professionals for your reservation, active in the sector for over 4 years.
You can book 24/24. No need to wait for the restaurant to be open. Ideal gourmet handles your booking for you.

Are there booking fees ?
No, there are no additional booking fees. You will only pay your all inclusive menu.

How long does it take to receive my booking confirmation ?
An average of a couple of hours. If you should make your booking when our offices are closed, please allow some more time.
In any case, money will not be drawn from your account before your booking has been confirmed.

I want to change or cancel my booking
Your reservation is normally a definitive one. You can sometimes change your date if the restaurant agrees to it. If you want to change your booking, please contact us by mail at serviceclient[at]idealgourmet.fr, at the latest 72 business hours before your original booking.

Is the online payment secure ?
Our online payment is secure thanks to Paiement CIC. Your card number never reaches us. We do not store any bank information.

How does a prepaid reservation work ?
1. Book and pay for the restaurant of your choice among 500 Gourmet Restaurants.
2. Receive your voucher within 24 hours, and show it to the restaurant.
3. Enjoy an all inclusive menu, with no nasty surprises when the check arrives.

- Delivery

How can I get my invitation or voucher? What are the time frames and fees ?
Delivery times are linked to regular mail, 2-3 business days for ordinary mail. No additional charges.
For delivery by Chronopost, the cost is 25 euros, delivery within 24 hours.
MAX allows you to get your mail in 2-3 days, by secure mail, for 8 euros.
For those who live in Paris, you can your invitation hand delivered for 15 euros.

How can I pay ? Is it risk free ?
There are 2 ways to pay with Ideal Gourmet:
- online: secure payment by Visa, Mastercard, American Express.
- offline: cheque, gift voucher, transfer, fax or phone

For obvious security reasons, you cannot change your details online. Please send us an e mail with your full details, and tell us you would like us to change them. Our services will get back to you.

In « My account », you can inform us about this. We will send the necessary information back to you, to the e mail address we have for you.

How can I create an account ?

I have got no confirmation
A confirmation e mail is automatically sent when you confirm your order. Sometimes these e mails can go directly to your spam box, please check there. You can also reach us at +33 (0)1 45 72 07 14 to make sure we have got your order.

Can I change or cancel my order ?
As soon as we have got your payment, it is impossible to cancel. But you can always change your order under certain conditions, and by paying an administrative fee.

What are the time frames for changing my mind ?
According to article L. 121-20-4-2 in the Consumer Code, this time frame for changing your mind does not apply to hotels, transport, restaurants and leasure activities, foreseen for a specific date.

I am not sure my payment got through
If you go into my account, you can see if your order is confirmed or not. And when the payment is accepted at our end, we always send a confirmation by email.

I want to cancel my booking / order
When the invitation is written out to your guest, we cannot accept any changes. If the Invitation is not used, no reimbursement is foreseen
