Le Château de Gilly has kept its authenticity dating back to the 14th and 17th centuries, with a French garden and the magnificent vaulted dining room. One moment in this beautiful décor is really a journey in itself, a moment of forgetfulness and dreams, with no obligations at all. The masterpiece is really the dining room with its crossed vaults, supported by high pillars, formerly cellar for the Gilly monks. They kept barrels full of the wine produced in the Clos de Vougeot vineyards here. It has kept its personality, and is now a unique place.
