Restaurant, bar, club, concert hall… Le Réservoir is all this… It is an ideal place, located in a former craftsman’s shop in the lively Bastille neighbourhood.
It was a success when it opened in 1996 and has been since, it is always full. The success can be explained by the quality music played here and by the personality of the founder, Mary de Vivo, who is pleasant, original, an artist who wants an establishment with variety, a welcoming and warm one as well.
In a few years only, Le Réservoir has become a well known name in Parisian night life. A number of artists, some really big names, play here often. Maybe you will be lucky enough to catch The Cure, Eagle Eye Cherry, Placebo, Vanessa Paradis or Zazie live.
The décor was created in collaboration with talented artists like Jean-Paul Bernard or Anne-Cécile Ribeiro. The sculptures, the lights are in fact like the personalities of this place and they create a special kind of atmosphere, intimate and very energetic.
The cuisine aspect is not forgotten. The menu changes according to the season, but it remains inspired by Mediterranean flavours: olives, peppers, tomatoes, olive oil, basil…
Le Réservoir is a varied kind of place, where artists like to gather, a moving place where nights follow each other but are very different!
