Located in the former secondary building of a water mill built of bricks from the North, this Alsatian Inn is both country-like and charming! The décor is no doubt influenced by the country side, but it has been pleasantly modernized, it is both light and colourful, with a beautiful choice of cloth and of harmonious colours. This place is indeed between old-time pretty and very personal modernity, it offers the best of the region! As soon as the weather allows, the terrace in the shade and by the water has moments of gourmet bliss in store for you.
In the kitchen we find Philippe Clauss who was taught at the Beau Site in Ottrot and at Gavroche in London; he composes unforgettable dishes for you... He is now member of the Jeunes Restaurateurs d’Europe association, a certain sign that he is on the rise, but he manages to still modestly advocate a traditional kind of cuisine. It is indeed very original, his inspiration comes from the poetry of Nature around him. He prepares dishes with a true taste, with subtle favours. He is very sensitive to the secrets of nature, gets inspiration from herbs, aromas and smells, the result being delicious dishes of the season that will melt in your mouth and get your taste buds sparkling.
