Christophe Bernard was long the Chef at La Briquetterie in Viney, where he got a star in the Michelin guide for the second time. He then chose to settle in his own walls at the heart of the most representative city of the region, Epernay. He has got great help in the person of his wife Kristel who is in charge of service and welcome. They both took on the challenge of providing the capital of bubbles with a well deserved gourmet embassy. As for the décor, the restaurant has got a beautiful fire place to offer, the furniture is pleasant and of good taste, the crockery well chosen to make the table even more beautiful. When the weather allows the splendid flowery terrace brings a nice exterior stop, fresh and quiet. On the cuisine side, Christophe really likes fresh and beautiful products which he gets in every day. The cuisine is created according to the market and to the moods of a creative, dynamic Chef whose first purpose is to satisfy each guest. The result is there, you will be surprised by the creations of this Chef who is specialized in sauces. For the grilled meat, the name of the establishment indicates a tradition that had to be kept alive. The Chef has turned them into the best grilled meat of the district and everyone in Epernay is most certainly happy about that.
