Dazzling is the word coming to mind when you see the three cabins composing Les Bas Rupts hostel.
This is a Relais & Châteaux establishment, located very close to the pleasant town of Gérardmer in the Vosges region. Around you a splendid and fairy tale like setting, snowy mountain tops in the wintertime, a nice spa pool and flowery balconies in the summertime, with a wooden décor in the dining room, a really classy place. Everybody would no doubt like to spend time here, maybe even stay here for good... The customer is king, as the saying goes, and that is the philosophy here as well. The service in this restaurant is impeccable, the personnel is attentive and pleasant, they know how to discreetly advise you in the best of ways. If you want to visit the region it is of course possible, the nature around here is generous, you will have a truly exceptional moment in the region. A comfortable and pleasant place, no doubt, but it is also excellent when it comes to the cuisine. We have a talented Chef here, François Lachaux, who was Meilleur Ouvrier de France in 1993, and his creations are what you will enjoy. He has enjoyed the pleasure of having had a star in the Michelin guide, hats in the Gault et Millau one, he is a member of the very serious Prosper Montagné Club. He wanted a special ideal gourmet menu with compositions according to the season, always excellent.
